Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice
Bradford implements a Restorative Justice approach as a means of building community and instilling the Bradford CARES values. Restorative Justice is guided by a philosophy that fosters social and emotional well-being, acceptance, empowerment and mutual respect for those who are impacted by and involved in conflict. Restorative Justice provides integrated methods to address conflict through reflection, reconciliation, and accountability where harm has occurred. This approach seeks to cultivate an equitable environment where all individuals feel safe, included, heard and will benefit from shared learning experiences. To learn more regarding Restorative Justice, please see the Montclair Public Schools District Policy 5600 Regulation 5600-“Student Code of Conduct & Restorative Practices.
